International touring musician and Elton John impersonator, Jeff Burkett brings his authentic tribute to the stage with the re- creation of Elton’s prolific vocals and Piano stylings at full throttle, performing all the big hits as well as some deeper cuts from Elton’s huge catalogue of music. Available as a full band or as a solo act.
“Jeff Burkett as Sir Elton John, brings a truly authentic portrayal of the iconic artist and his music to the stage, as well as an uncanny resemblance to Elton himself. As a fan of Elton’s music since the early age of 12, Jeff aspired to become a successful singer/pianist/songwriter after hearing Elton John’s , Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album. It remains his favorite to this day. “The music is absolutely incredible. But it is also the heartfelt, often surreal imagery of Taupin’s lyrics set to Elton’s unique piano and vocal styling's that tell these amazing stories best”, Jeff explains. “Mine and the band’s mission is to thoroughly re-create the Elton John concert experience, to the level or degree that after the show, fans truly feel as if they just saw Elton himself perform.”

“I have been playing drums, singing, and playing piano since I was a kid and went on to play professionally in 1981. I am fluent in all styles - rock, progressive rock, jazz-rock fusion, bee bop, Latin, big band, orchestra/symphonic, and more.
​
Some of the bands I have played with are: Angry Jan, Bayou Bandits, Stompbox, 3Phase, Mojo Rats, Signal 15, Oracle, Savage Rose, Factor 5, Advent, Great Society, Future, Millennium, Cocoa Brown & the New Soul Review, Jakarta, The Receders, Payback, Breakdown: A Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Uncle Click, Sluggo, Loudhouse, The Britney Burns Band, The Mindy Harris Band, The Michael Nitro Band, Loudhouse, Tangled Slinky, Sultry Persuasion Band, Hair Razer, J 2 K, High Plains Hangover, and more.

My musical influences are all over the map. Drumming influences are Buddy Rich, Art Blakey, Gene Krupa, Neil Peart, Simon Phillips, Mike Portnoy, Phil Collins, Jeff Porcaro, Phil Ehardt, Manu Katche', Vinnie Colaiuta, Chad Smith, and of course John Bonham.

Piano players that have influenced me the most are Elton John, Billy Joel, David Paich, Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Ryo Akumoto, Jan Hammer, Herbie Hancock, Jordan Rudess, and many others.
​
I am a huge fan of everything from Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett to Dream Theater. Of course, Yes, Rush, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on and on and on".
